GiaCare Inc., in anticipation of a future government contract award, is currently accepting applications for experienced, civilian Polysomnographic Technicians to work alongside the federal government, in support of the Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, Colorado).
Requirements
Degree/Education:
Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Board Certification:
Must have current certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
Licensure:
Current, full, active, and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years, conducting sleep studies in a patient care setting, including one (1) year of scoring sleep studies.
Experience:
Knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including familiarity with common sleep lab conditions such as PAP adherence, mask leaks, mask fittings, insomnia, CBT‑I, RLS, anxiety/depression, nightmares, inadequate sleep time, and narcolepsy.
Must be US citizen.
Duties Provide "world‑class" services to our military heroes and their families.
