Must acquire and maintain special technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****EDUCATION***For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.***Minimum Required:** None**Preferred/Optional:** Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited polysomnographic technology program.**EXPERIENCE****Minimum Required:** One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT), Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END) or Polysomnographic Technologist.**Preferred/Optional:** Two years’ experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist.**CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES***The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.***Minimum Required:** Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) Basic Life Support (BLS) awarded by the American Heart Association.**Preferred/Optional:** NoneNo weekends**Marshfield Clinic Health System is committed to enriching the lives of others through accessible, affordable and compassionate healthcare.
