Structural Design Technician
to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team.
As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll grow your skills and join our collaborative team providing award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management and design‑build project delivery. You’ll work closely with clients and construction trade partners to develop design concepts, create models from scratch and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You’ll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2‑D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3‑D Revit models.
You’ll also have the chance to provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team and building and maintaining team morale. Required qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience
Preferred qualifications
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of designers
Experience with healthcare, institutional or commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
