Job Category : OTRS Ineligible Position Overview This is a regular student technical position, which serves as the Studio Technician for ACM@UCO. The Studio Technician will assist staff or faculty with supporting the classrooms, labs, or departments. Duties may include setting up, picking up, and checking-in classroom items for classes. May be requested to set up audio/visual equipment, PowerPoint presentations, and/or computers for staff, faculty or students. Hours per Week Up to 25 hours per week, maximum, during fall and spring semesters. Up to 35 hours per week, maximum, during summer semesters. Department Specific Job Functions Studio Technician will oversee scheduling and access to the facility for after-hours use of recording studios, rehearsal facilities, and any other uses as deemed appropriate by the ACM@UCO staff. Studio Technician will regularly check email for after hours and communicate in a timely and consistent manner with students making requests for use of facilities. Studio Technician will be responsible for all facilities and equipment during afterhours use, including checking equipment in and out and ensuring proper treatment of facilities during use. Studio Technician will be expected to maintain a safe and courteous environment during afterhours use and may be called on to act in case of emergency or other situation with appropriate response as dictated by the ACM@UCO staff, UCO DPS, or other common sense practice, such as calling 911 in case of emergency.
