Responsibilities
Work closely with Manager to create seasonal line, select color stories, develop fabrics and prepare for milestone meetings (sketch reviews, proto reviews, assortment reviews). Prepare professional presentation boards with illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication, and garment samples. Assist in research of seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials, styling, and trims. Create tech packs; work with Technical Design in preparing specs, updating sketches and BOMs. Request dips/strike-offs/handloom submits and garment samples. Create seasonal lineplans / CADs. Attend fittings and take notes. Communicate updates to cross-functional teams in a timely manner. Collaborate with Merchants and Production teams to maintain Design integrity while meeting business goals. Qualifications
1-2 years relative Design experience Apparel Design degree Strong portfolio High level understanding of brand aesthetic and enthusiasm for the brand Strong illustration skills (hand and Adobe Illustrator) Demonstrated creative sense and ability Trend/fashion awareness Technical sketching ability (flats) Working knowledge of garment construction and trim Garment measurement and specification experience Knowledge of lab dips and strike-offs Excellent color sense Self-motivated and proactive Team player with a can-do attitude Ability to meet deadlines Organized Strong written and verbal communication skills Good follow-through with a sense of urgency Demonstrated ability to do creative, focused visual presentations Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel Benefits & Perks

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
