When your shift starts at 4:30pm, you take the baton from the pressroom and prepare finished webs for their final journey. From

Night: Mon-Wed 4:30pm-6:00am , you own the slitting, rewinding, and quality checkpoints that ensure every roll leaving the building is precise, cleanly finished, and shipment‑ready. First, you review the job ticket, set up knives and cores, dial in tension, and run test footage. As the work flows, you watch for defects, make micro‑adjustments, swap out dull blades, and keep the area spotless. When a minor hiccup appears, you troubleshoot quickly; for larger issues, you loop in maintenance and keep production moving. You wrap each job with accurate labeling and staging for the next stop. Set up, run, and fine‑tune slitting/rewinding equipment to match job specs and quality targets. Inspect finished rolls visually to confirm customer requirements and internal standards are met. Detect defects and take corrective action to protect consistency and product integrity. Perform light preventive maintenance—cleaning, lubrication, and minor part replacement—to maximize uptime. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; elevate significant problems to the right team members promptly. Handle a range of substrates, maintaining proper web tension and cut accuracy. Operate material handling tools (pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks) safely to move materials. Keep a clean, organized, and safe area aligned with company policies and OSHA requirements. Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to keep workflow smooth and on schedule. Champion continuous improvement—identify ideas to boost productivity and reduce waste. Basic Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude; able to make basic repairs and machine adjustments. Reliable availability for scheduled hours, plus overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing setting. Clear communicator who collaborates well with peers and leaders. Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Background

Technical/vocational training in printing, manufacturing, or a related field. 2+ years of experience with slitting, rewinding, or flexographic printing in the labeling industry. Hands‑on experience with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Work Environment & Physical Demands

Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, inks, and chemicals. Prolonged standing, frequent lifting, and repetitive motions. High‑velocity production environment with strict quality and efficiency goals. Proficiencies
