Department Radio Shop

Compensation $39.82/hour

Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (may vary)

What You’ll Do

Install, maintain, and repair two‑way radios, 800 MHz trunked systems, and fire station alerting equipment

Maintain flood warning and alarm systems

Troubleshoot base stations, mobile units, and networked systems

Perform routine maintenance and keep accurate documentation

Respond to emergency callouts as needed

Requirements

Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or military equivalent

2+ years installing or repairing communications/electronic systems

Valid Indiana Driver's License

FCC General Radiotelephone, CETa, or Motorola P25 certification preferred

Bonus: experience with RF systems, network interfaces, or CompTIA/Microsoft certifications
