Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our Machine R&D team. This role is responsible for creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with engineering staff to ensure design accuracy and compliance with standards. Responsibilities
Prepare layouts, details, and technical drawings using CAD software. Review engineering drawings for adherence to standards. Collaborate with engineers to resolve incomplete design details. Manage electronic files using document management systems. Create and update documentation using word processing tools. Verify clarity and accuracy of new and revised drawings. Transfer CAD dimensions to hardcopy using peripheral equipment. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Proficiency in CAD software — Solid Edge experience preferred over SolidWorks or other platforms. Strong 3D modeling and drafting skills. Familiarity with drafting standards and tool design practices. Intermediate math skills, including trigonometry. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Teamcenter (or similar PLM software) for CAD data management. Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems). Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities. Team-oriented, safety- and quality-conscious.
