Actual pay determined by experience, skills and internal equity. 457B and employer match Company paid STD and LTD Job Summary: Under the direction of the EEG/Sleep Lab Medical Director and the Cardiopulmonary Department Leader. Performs patient follow-up after all tests conducted for the Sleep evaluations or EEG testing that measures outcomes of patient services. Responsibilities include patient satisfaction and handling complaints regarding testing or services; timeliness of responses to patient questions or concerns; maintaining a log or database documenting outcomes and resolutions; instituting preventative measures for adverse events; and assisting sleep lab technologists and EEG techs with challenges related to artifacts, scoring reliability, patient hook-up, and other needs. Scores sleep studies following AASM guidelines to assist night-time PSC techs. Responsibilities

Monitor patient satisfaction and complaints regarding testing and/or services rendered. Ensure timely response to patient questions, challenges, or concerns. Maintain a log or database documenting outcomes and resolutions. Institute preventative measures for adverse events. Assist sleep lab technologist and EEG techs with challenges concerning artifacts, scoring reliability, patient hookup, and related needs. Score sleep studies following AASM guidelines to assist night-time PSC techs. Qualifications

Education and Experience: R EEG RPSGT from ABRET and the BRPT preferred; RPSGT within 1 year. Job Knowledge: Familiar with Polysomnography Computer Systems and protocols; know proper sensor attachment, quality control and calibration processes. Abilities, Interests and Temperaments

Verbal ability needed to interpret and understand written physicians' orders and communicate with other healthcare practitioners. Form perception needed to interpret written prescription formats. Clerical perception needed to prevent errors in reading physician\'s orders, test reports, progress notes, and other documentation. Finger dexterity needed to handle medical equipment, assemble polysomnographic sensors, and connect equipment to patients. Interest in scientific/technical activities to set up and adapt equipment to patient needs and stay informed of field findings. Preference for processes and techniques to follow policies and standards of care in polysomnographic procedures. Ability to follow physician orders precisely and function as a member of the patient-care team. Ability to work with patients of diverse populations across settings and conditions. Seniority level
