An Audiovisual company is looking for multiple AV Technicians across various levels in the Norco, CA area for a 3.5 month project on multiple performing arts centers in the area. The Audiovisual Integration Technician will perform installation tasks including, but not limited to: cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, and rack systems per project directives and requirements, coordinating with the Project Management office and Senior staff to ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements. This project will open the opportunity for future employment with ongoing projects.
Responsibilities based on skill level
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
Work with the warehouse to coordinate stock transfers and initiate return material authorizations as needed
Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
Independently complete the basic setup of a control system. (Extron, Crestron, SP Controls, Atlona Velocity, URC, etc.)
Independently complete the basic setup of a digital signal processor. (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, Shure, BSS, etc.)
Field installation of control programs (Program code/Firmware) - upload and download capability.
Conduct testing and maintenance on A/V systems and components.
Assist end users with training and system setup for presentation and general use as needed.
Perform service tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and hanging ceiling mounts
Provide end-user client training as needed
Adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the job
Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems
Must Have
Graduate of a DAS-approved apprenticeship program in low-voltage/electronic systems technician.
Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio video and control
Ability to solder & crimp connectors
Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record
Ability to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to wear PPE gear

Minimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course
