Job Description FOX Entertainment Global is seeking an Assistant, Content & Acquisitions to support FOX Entertainment Global’s efforts to acquire, co-produce, and license premium programming across scripted, unscripted formats, film, and kids & family content for global distribution. The Assistant, Content & Acquisitions will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, including managing the SVP\'s calendar, travel arrangements, and expenses. This role also involves tracking the full workflow of content submissions and working cross-functionally with support staff across sales, marketing, legal, operations, finance, and strategy. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytical, self-starter who is passionate about premium global content of all genres. Looking for someone to grow with the company.

A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities

Greet guests, answer and roll calls, schedule a heavy calendar, coordinate and maintain appointments and meetings

Complete expense reports, maintain files, book travel arrangements/reservations, and coordinate all other special projects

Ensure the global sales force and content team have up-to-date materials and are properly equipped to take content to market

Liaise with all internal departments to make sure requests are processed in a timely manner and the C&A team is aware of any issues that may arise, including but not limited to Legal, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Distribution delivery matters

Work with the C&A team and regional Sales teams to collate territory-by-territory feedback and create worldwide sales update and performance docs for content partners and internal stakeholders from both 3rd party sources and internal locally managed stakeholders

Attend producer meetings with SVP when requested and take detailed notes and follow-ups as needed

Track producers and content/acquisition opportunities

Attend weekly team meetings and provide notes as needed

Manage schedules for markets and festivals

Create presentation decks

Read scripts and provide coverage as time permits

Serve as backup to other administrative assistants when necessary

What You Will Need

1-2 years of previous experience as an Assistant in content acquisitions, content strategy, co-production, or sales in the TV or Film distribution environment

Experience working in an agency supporting international business

Team player who operates in a fast-paced setting

Able to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure

Skilled in prioritizing and responding to changing business needs

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and generative AI applications

Collaborative and flexible team player with professional demeanor

Ability to build and foster internal and external relationships

Ability to work with high-level senior managers and demonstrate discretion

Ability to manage scheduling across multiple time zones

Familiarity and deep passion for the global TV landscape

Can-do attitude and a desire to grow your career within the international content industry

Office coverage could require extended work hours – must be available to work overtime or travel domestically and internationally as needed

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-26.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
