Responsibilities for Music Teacher
Plan and prepare weekly lessons
Teach after school individual and/or group instrumental music lessons
Motivate pupils and encourage progress
Create and maintain a network of contacts to ensure work continuity
Communicate with school staff and parents
Assess pupils' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports
Organize quarterly recital
Qualifications for Music Teacher
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably with all ages.
Warm, outgoing, and patient personality.
Degree in music preferred.
Ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and administration
Excellent oral and written skills
Confident in leading a classroom of students
Able to pass a drug test, fingerprints, and local background check
Strong organizational skills
Able to lift 25-50 pounds multiple times a day
Able to thrive working in a team environment
Must be qualified to work in the US
Training
Prior to beginning instruction, all instructors are provided with extensive training on the methods of our curriculum and textbook/workbook, in order to teach in a standardized fashion and provide consistent and uniform instruction to all of our students.
