About The Role & Team Disney Digital Entertainment, a division of Disney Experiences, is embarking on a mission to create the ‘digital front door’ for The Walt Disney Company, bringing all of the magic of Disney together into a new interactive universe. Disney Digital Entertainment is looking for a uniquely talented Producer to join us on an ambitious and exciting new project. We’re assembling a world‑class team to shape a groundbreaking game experience that will define the next generation of Disney storytelling. As a Producer I , you’ll play a key role in supporting the franchise creative efforts by managing our production process including project and approval tracking, managing all internal/external product communication and deliverables, and collaborating with various business units and studio franchises. This is an onsite role in Glendale, CA and will report to Producer III. What you will do: Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and authenticity. Analyze and track product development schedules, perform milestone reviews, track all submissions, and submit weekly progress reports on each assigned product. Review and analyze feedback generated by Studio Partners with Franchise Creative team and Production teams. Lead presentations and product demos as necessary to peers, management, and other stakeholders. Work closely with the members of the Franchise Creative and Production teams to collaborate with partners on new product concepts. Act as a brand steward guiding our partners to deliver authentic experiences while balancing the needs of the product. Identify and help build or improve existing workflows and processes to create more efficiency with the goal of enhancing collaboration. Required Qualifications and Skills: 3+ years of experience specifically in product development/production of Console, Mobile, PC, and/or AR/VR games or other entertainment. Has shipped mobile, console, and/or PC games with live operations components. Extensive game development experience building and supporting top‑grossing, critically acclaimed, AAA games on console and mobile. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback and present ideas with clarity and conviction. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex challenges while consistently meeting commitments and deadlines. Self‑starter, reliable, passionate about work and committed to discipline and its challenges. Ability to anticipate and communicate issues and take initiative on solving problems and finding solutions. Exceptional attention to detail with a clear understanding of the big picture, always focusing on quality, authenticity, and the intended audience. Ability to build and achieve consensus among multiple stakeholders, balancing the needs of production and brand stakeholders; always working towards solutions. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills with the ability to maximize individual and department performance. Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present to a diverse set of individuals from different professional backgrounds. Demonstrate affinity and familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel Franchises. Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Airtable. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum, Kanban, and other production methodologies. Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint / Keynote. Ability to travel to meet with partners, maintain valid US Passport. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Information: List titles/projects you have been involved with in gaming. Base pay will consider internal equity and may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus and/or long‑term incentive units, as part of the medical, financial, and other benefits package.
