The Marketing Specialist participates in the development of the brand's marketing team objectives to support overall brand strategies/goals, with a focus on go-to-market campaign support and local marketing support. This position is responsible for overall support of the marketing team, including tactical support of go-to-market brand campaigns, new store openings, local store marketing, analytical storytelling and reporting, and shares in the responsibility of communicating brand marketing initiatives to the franchise system. This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and our offices follow a hybrid work model.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, public relations, communications, business, advertising, or other related field of study (Preferred)
Work Experience
2-4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, sales, promotions, or event planning (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate in clear concise language; to demonstrate active listening while engaging others; and to present to key stakeholders in a relevant and compelling manner
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., senior management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g., internal and external customers, etc.) in a timely manner
Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met; and to effectively prioritize work
Ability to write clearly and informatively; to edit work for spelling and grammar; to read and accurately interpret written information; and to vary writing style to meet needs
Ability to travel overnight approximately 15% annually
