The Proposal Writer Specialist is responsible for crafting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). This key position manages the proposal process from start to finish and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the proposal process for mid-size, moderately complex RFPs, from strategy meetings through to final submission.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding bid opportunities, product gaps, and process hurdles.
• Utilize Qvidian proposal software to ensure compliance with Prime's proposal standards by creating well-organized and compelling responses.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) and perform thorough research to drive timely and comprehensive submissions.
• Develop clear, concise proposal responses, incorporating strategic messaging and adequate exhibits to support our proposals effectively.
• Review proposals for unique requirements, areas of concern, and opportunities for differentiation.
• Facilitate coordination with Networks, Formulary, Underwriting, and other departments to enhance the RFP response process.
• Organize regular meetings with sales and account management teams to ensure proposal accuracy and representation of our diverse product offerings.
• Collaborate with client proposal teams to generate Through the Blue pharmacy proposals.
• Work with legal and various departments to secure approval for any necessary changes to business requirements.
• Route updated responses to the Database Specialist for integration into the RFP content management system.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal writing.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications:

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Proven collaborative and interpersonal skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Qvidian or other proposal management tools is a plus.

Physical demands may include sitting for extended periods, using hands, talking, and hearing, as well as occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
