Sleep Diagnostic Lab Schedule: PRN Hospital: Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola Location: Pensacola, Florida What You Will Do

Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies. Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures. Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues. Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies. Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements. What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required:

Certified Polysomnographic Technologist credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire or transfer. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential from the BRPT obtained prior to hire or transfer. Respiratory Care Practitioner credential obtained prior to hire or transfer. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire or transfer. Sleep Technician credential from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) obtained prior to hire or transfer.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience OR an Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience. Additional Preferences
