Overview
The ABM Strategist requires someone who is not afraid to think differently, contributing to the growth of our organization in a variety of ways as they build marketing programs and support targeted sales activity. You will play an integral role in the development and execution of our ABM strategy. The ideal individual will be a pragmatic, intuitive hands-on marketer, capable of handling multiple projects at once and able to act on their own initiative. The candidate will work on a variety of programs and actively contribute to the success of the central marketing team. Responsibilities
Strategy – Taking the existing IFS ABM strategy framework to develop enhanced key account-based marketing plans that will focus on specific account objectives. This will be an evolving process and the ideal candidate will be proactive in suggesting changes to the framework to improve performance Execution – The key aspect of this role will be to support and liaise with field marketing teams as they execute ABM strategies to select accounts in their region, suggesting improvements and acting as a source of excellence in ABM performance Execution – Key Global Accounts – In addition to the regional field marketing execution, there will be select accounts that the ABM Strategist will be responsible for the central execution (working with key account holders, ensuring successful delivery and keeping teams updated as necessary) GTM research – working with Product Marketing/Industry Marketing to review key industry insights, persona messaging and key content collateral to support ABM initiatives Meeting ABM demand generation goals that will grow the global business Supporting the development of an annual demand generation plan and delivering ABM programs that build IFS’s brand reputation and deliver profitable revenue—programs that address the business challenges of our clients, fulfil our pipeline needs and raise the external profile of IFS across the industry sector Provide innovative approaches that reach customers and build relationships. Develop and implement an appropriate mix of activities that highlight IFS’s positioning and knowledge in the sector Analyze, monitor, measure, and report on ABM effectiveness aligned to key metrics such as marketing influenced revenue, qualified sales leads, campaign performance. Share a performance dashboard with stakeholders, supporting the optimization and fine tuning of campaigns Qualifications
Essential
: 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in the software industry 3+ years of demonstratable ABM knowledge and application Demand generation and ABM execution experience into large enterprise accounts Understanding of online marketing platforms and how they can be used effectively to source, nurture and accelerate prospect’s sales journeys Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Engineering, or a related business field (or relevant training/experience) Desirable
: Experience in a similar role within a software technology organization Experience working within a global, virtual environment What We’re Offering
