Hospice Marketing Liaison
Join Ascend Health as a Hospice Marketing Liaison and help facilitate patient admissions to hospice through marketing and education activities with contracted and potential community resources. Responsibilities
Generate business by creating and maintaining relationships with physicians, medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, discharge planners, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources. Prepare and conduct calls and in‑service presentations to potential referral sources. Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations and joining as a member to promote the Hospice philosophy and Ascend’s services. Promote an environment that respects patient privacy, dignity, and well‑being. Promote positive public relations with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Serve as an internal and external resource, supporting the mission and vision of the organization, especially in palliative and end‑of‑life care. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience in marketing, preferably within hospice or other healthcare environments (e.g., Home Health, Long Term Care, Pharmaceuticals). Willingness to travel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self‑starter with the ability to generate own leads. Organized approach to territory management and ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to support and promote the Hospice philosophy to referral sources in the medical industry. Benefits
