Taft is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to serve our team in Taft’s Indianapolis office.
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with 1-2 years’ experience to support our marketing and business development team. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with events including, but not limited to, logistics, catering, and on-site event needs, building/coordinating invitation lists, and managing RSVPs.
Assists the director/team with (1) sponsorship support including processing invoices, providing marketing materials/visual assets, and maintaining a timeline of upcoming events, and (2) sponsorship fulfillment including the registration process, ad submissions, and table attendees.
Assists with completing budget-related activities in a timely manner, including invoice follow-up and processing, credit card receipt submission and reconciliation of statements, and updating/tracking items.
Professional sporting, concert, and theatre venues: Coordinates ticket usage; transfers tickets to attendees; manages catering; ensures communication is delivered to all relevant parties; and collaborates with facility staff at venues.
Assists with facilitating and purchasing additional ticketing needs.
Assists with website content including drafting news notes and proofing content and social media posts.
Provides support for RFP and pitch materials to the Indianapolis market, including gathering information.
Manages continuing legal education (CLE) process for external programs in for Indiana credit.
Manages logistics of new attorney photo shoots.
Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges independently or collaboratively with a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Assists with other requests as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field (preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of marketing, law firm, or professional services experience preferred.
Strong understanding of web-based platforms, such as a content management system, as well as basic HTML knowledge.
Excellent computer skills – high proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously improve technical skills related to data and event management.
Superior communication skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.
