Role Description This is a remote position for a Sales and Marketing Specialist. The role involves developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility. Daily tasks include engaging with clients, managing marketing campaigns, overseeing customer interactions, and providing training to team members. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams to create tailored, impactful sales and marketing plans.
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and build meaningful relationships.
Proven abilities in sales and sales management to drive revenue and meet team goals.
Experience in training and mentoring team members to develop skills and enhance performance.
Proficiency in marketing tools, techniques, and analytics to effectively create and monitor campaigns.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment and adapt to the dynamic needs of a creative agency.
Prior experience in the marketing or creative services industry is a plus.
Responsibilities Daily Tasks – Sales Commission: 15% of every sale you make! The top salesperson will get an increase in commission.
Identify potential clients such as small businesses, local organizations, schools, universities, and community programs.
Look for anyone who may need social media management, content creation, or digital marketing services.
Add 10–20 new leads daily to the lead sheet or CRM.
Daily Outreach (Making Contact)
Send 15–25 messages/emails per day introducing Mixed Media’s services.
Reach out through email, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn DMs.
Present our services clearly and professionally.
Track every contact made.
Follow‑Ups
Follow up with leads from previous days to keep conversations active.
Provide updates, answer questions, and offer service recommendations.
Aim to convert warm leads into paying clients.
Keep daily notes of who you contacted, their level of interest, what service they may need.
Stay organized and update the team if a client is ready to buy.
Explain packages, pricing, and benefits to clients.
Send over service options or connect them with the creative team if needed.
Secure commitment and confirm the sale — you earn 15% commission on every sale you bring in.
Weekly Reporting
Turn in a simple weekly report showing leads reached, conversations started, follow‑ups completed, and commission earned.
Brand Representation
Share Mixed Media content on social when possible.
Always speak positively and professionally about the company.
