Responsibilities Are you a dynamic and experienced property management professional looking to make a meaningful impact? Related Affordable seeks a passionate and results-driven Traveling Community Manager who will manage one or more properties, frequently traveling for interim support, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations, and managing leasing, resident services, financial performance, and community engagement.
Lead and inspire your team, including hiring, training, and evaluating office and maintenance staff.
Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administrative functions.
Maintain seamless financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency management.
Build strong relationships with residents and handle tenant/landlord relations, including conflict resolution.
Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC, etc.).
Supervise property maintenance and ensure timely, high‑quality service.
Develop and manage the property’s financial budget.
Prepare key reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Take on special projects that enhance the community and drive operational success.
Compensation
$85,000 - $90,000/year
Annual Performance Bonus
This range is a general guideline and may vary based on qualifications, location, and responsibilities. The final compensation will be determined after a thorough assessment.

Qualifications
3+ years of property management experience.
Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, etc.).
A valid driver's license, flexible schedule for frequent travel, proficiency in property management software.
Strong financial acumen, budget management, accounting principles.
Experience with RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards (or similar).
Proven leadership skills with direct supervisory experience.
Proactive, problem‑solving mindset dedicated to great living experiences.
Demonstrated confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters.
Accountability, reliability, precision, resilience, and learning orientation; fosters collaboration and resident‑centered environment.
