Role Summary

Drive consumer acquisition, activation, and incremental spend across SYF’s portfolio of furniture, appliance, and electronics retailers. Leverage B2C and B2B2C marketing strategies to enhance the consumer credit experience, increase cardholder engagement, and drive incremental sales through tailored promotions and seamless integration of SYF credit offerings at all relevant consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities Lead consumer activation and loyalty growth, designing strategies that drive applications and utilization of SYF credit products.

Develop incremental sales and penetration campaigns targeting current SYF cardholders across email, buying group, association websites, mobile, and direct mail.

Collaborate with retail partners to embed SYF’s financing solutions into digital and physical shopping experiences.

Create and execute promotional financing and special offers to enhance consumer satisfaction.

Leverage consumer data and competitive intelligence to craft value propositions aligned with shopper preferences.

Plan multi‑channel integrated campaigns combining digital advertising, event marketing, and partnership promotions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and SYF advertising standards.

Oversee budgeting, track ROI, and optimize spend efficiency.

Partner with cross‑functional teams (product, legal, compliance, finance, collections, operations) to maintain regulatory and operational integrity.

Drive innovation in consumer engagement using new channels and technologies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 10+ years of marketing experience in credit card or financial services.

5+ years of marketing experience, including 5 years traditional consumer marketing channels and 3 years managing multiple projects simultaneously.

3+ years using marketing metrics and program measurement.

Ability to travel for business as required.

Compensation

Salary range:

90,000.00 - 155,000.00

USD per year, eligible for an annual bonus. Salaries adjusted for CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements 18 years or older.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Willingness to undergo drug and background investigations and fingerprinting.

Compliance with Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
