Position Purpose The Producer is a creative leader, project manager, client relationship manager and people manager. As project lead, the Producer is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project including creative intent, IP utilization, design feasibility, efficient production, fabrication, procurement and installation. The Producer ensures coordination across multiple design disciplines and is responsible for the financial profit or loss generated by the effort.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Project management: scope, budget, schedule, and track jobs from inception to delivery.

Lead creative and technical teams and mentor Design Managers and Production Coordinators.

Negotiate and maintain positive client relationships while protecting the company’s creative and financial well‑being.

Act as a trusted advisor, advocating project requirements to the team and ensuring alignment with client goals.

Coordinate internal disciplines, sub‑contractors, stakeholders and manage gaps or overlaps.

Maintain compliance with commercial aspects, creative goals, design intent, constructability and production elements.

Regularly inform and advise senior management of project status, elevating issues early with recommended solutions.

Manage relationships with IP holders and ensure compliance with intellectual property requirements.

Proactively find and cultivate new clients and revenue sources.

Management Responsibility Leads project teams in all departments and external project teams.

Competencies

Lead creative efforts from concept to delivery

In depth knowledge of project process to develop project strategies and schedules

Proficiency with proprietary budget accounting system (Deltek VantagePoint)

Proficiency with scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Gantt, Merlin)

Proficiency with Google Suite, particularly Sheets and Documents; able to create basic spreadsheet calculations

Knowledge to develop vendor RFPs, respond to RFIs, write contract scopes, and evaluate bids

Strong negotiation skills with third‑party vendors

Highly organized, detail oriented, capable of multitasking

Positive attitude, willingness to jump in and assist with any problem

Team‑oriented, trustworthy, open and collaborative

Passion for learning, innovation, and company growth

Well‑developed design and production management portfolio

Experience with architectural, project management, organizational, production, fabrication and construction practices for location‑based entertainment

Experience in related fields such as live entertainment and event production and operation

Aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and facilitate communication among disciplines

Strong knowledge of client brand and IP

Ability to represent the project and the company in front of a client

High level of professionalism

Experience with actualized projects in the field

Calm under pressure and objective problem‑solving in complex situations

Exemplary communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of previous experience at this level of responsibility

5+ years of client management experience in successfully delivering production solutions, preferably in a global client‑service organization

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Theatrical Management or a related field

Experience working with budgets from $1-2M USD

Experience with build and onsite installation

Work Conditions

Moderate exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises

Exposure to hazards or physical risks requiring basic safety precautions

Must wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in relevant areas (e.g., safety glasses, reflective vest, steel‑toed shoes)

Salary: $110,000 - 130,000 commensurate with experience.
