Responsibilities As a Residential Project Designer, you’ll be responsible for leading the design phase of our remodeling projects. This includes:
Translating client goals into smart, beautiful, and buildable designs
Preparing plans, scope of work, and material selections
Guiding clients through space planning and finish selections
Collaborating with teammates to ensure projects run smoothly from design through construction
Coordinating design intent with production for successful handoffs
Qualifications Soft Skills
Strong people skills and client presence
A passion for creativity and functional design
High integrity and accountability
Ability to manage complex info and stay organized
Collaborative mindset with initiative to grow
Hard Skills
4+ years of residential interior design or design‑build experience
Proficiency in Chief Architect or Revit (or similar 3D CAD software)
Strong space planning, cabinet design, and construction drawing skills
Deep understanding of material selection with respect to budget, aesthetics, and function
Experience guiding clients through preconstruction and into the build phase
