We are seeking a passionate Junior Mechanical Designer to join our Cranberry Township, PA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting senior engineers with designing and developing mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Responsibilities
Develop assembly and detail drawings of mechanical equipment from basic engineering or reference equipment using 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Perform calculations and analysis for product development and design.
Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to solve engineering problems and optimize designs.
Ensure that projects are completed on time and under budget.
Participate in meetings, reviews, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
Support manufacturing and production processes by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines in all engineering activities.
Learn and apply new technologies, software tools, and engineering principles to improve skills and knowledge.
Complete comprehensive training program at Danieli headquarters in Buttrio, Italy.
Technical Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
0–5 years of experience in mechanical design or related field.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
