Director of Business Development – Cartersville, GA. Magellan Financial & Insurance Services, Inc. is a fast-growing, independent financial advisory firm dedicated to helping pre‑retirees and retirees achieve financial confidence through comprehensive retirement planning. With a new office in Cartersville, we are looking for an experienced and driven Financial Advisor to lead and grow our presence in this region.

Compensation : $80,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Commissions, Bonuses, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Cartersville Office: Serve as the primary advisor overseeing client relationships and business development in the new market.

Work with Qualified Leads: Meet with pre‑screened prospects provided by the firm, understand their retirement objectives, and guide them through a tailored planning process.

Deliver Holistic Retirement Plans: Create personalized strategies utilizing AUM solutions, fixed indexed annuities, and other financial products aligned with client goals.

Drive Business Growth: Convert prospects into long‑term clients through relationship‑focused, consultative conversations.

Maintain Client Relationships: Offer ongoing support and service to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and continued success of financial plans.

Educate and Empower: Clearly explain investment options and retirement strategies in a way that is accessible and engaging for clients nearing or in retirement.

Proven Experience as a Financial Advisor: A strong track record of converting qualified prospects into long‑term clients, particularly in the retirement planning space.

Client‑Centered Philosophy: A consultative approach that builds trust and emphasizes education over sales pressure.

Excellent Communication Skills: Confident in leading discussions, simplifying complex topics, and delivering clear, persuasive recommendations.
