Travel or Local Psych RNs needed to work at an acute inpatient psychiatric facility in Anchorage, AK
Next start date is 9/8 with future start dates expected in Oct and Nov
3x12.5hr shifts - must be flexible on shift times
$3375/wk for Travelers
Requirements 2+yrs of recent psych experience
Inpatient/high acuity psych experience
Active Alaska license (Alaska is NOT part of the compact so this must be in hand)
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable. Minimum Requirements: Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
