Job Description: We are seeking a talented Bentley OpenPlant Mechanical Designer to join our team and contribute to high-impact projects shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow. In this role, you will develop complex design models and construction drawings, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D design models and construction drawings using Bentley OpenPlant and OpenBuildings. Coordinate BIM models across multi-discipline teams to ensure project accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Bentley ProjectWise for project management and collaboration. Support engineering staff in delivering detailed plant designs for various energy projects. Collaborate effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines. Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Bentley OpenPlant and OpenBuildings. Strong knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise. Experience with Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Revit. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to high-quality work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Minimum 5 years' experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings in an engineering or consulting environment. Experience with plant design; knowledge of simple cycle power plant mechanical systems is a plus. Preferred Experience:
Exposure to projects with EPC or A&E firms, including medium to large organizations in the energy sector.
