Compensation

*Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific patient goals.
* Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' abilities to perform daily tasks.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (i.e. Speech Therapist) to ensure cohesive patient care and effective discharge planning.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for improvement.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
* Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations. *Sensory processing disorders, Behavioral and emotional regulation challenges, Feeding difficulties, Fine motor and ADL delays*
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop collaborative, family-centered treatment plans
* Utilize therapeutic play, sensory integration strategies, and evidence-based interventions
* Partner closely with caregivers, educators, and other therapists to support each child’s full potential
* Contribute to a culture of clinical integrity and family-first care

*Skills*

* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
* Proficient in assisting patients with various therapeutic activities and exercises.
* Ability to create effective care plans that cater to individual patient needs.
* Familiarity with discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving care settings.
* Experience with early intervention and pediatric techniques.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality care.

Our Ideal Candidate

* Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in the state of Virginia
