Senior Motion Designer/Animator

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?) is heavily manual, costing billions. We provide large insurers with software solutions for self‑service claim filing, fraud detection, and more.

Base pay range

$135,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Translate design briefs into visually stunning 2D/3D motion work across web, marketing campaigns, and more.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, and motion prototypes that align with creative direction and brand guidelines.
• Work with cross‑functional teams (design, marketing, development) to bring static concepts to life through motion.
• Collaborate closely with developers to integrate motion concepts and design assets into web and video experiences.
• Continuously push creative boundaries with new techniques, trends, and technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.
• Optimize and establish processes and workflows to ensure smooth-running production operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or 3D visual design (agency and in‑house blend preferred).
• Background in graphic design is preferred, but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, or similar.
• Strong grasp of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with 2D and 3D pipelines, including modeling, texturing, and rendering.
• Understanding of brand systems and how motion brings identity to life.
• Experience creating assets optimized for web and digital (e.g., video, Lottie, interactive 3D).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable explaining concepts to non‑design stakeholders.
