Overview

Attention Rockstars! We’re looking for a full‑time Video Editor. This role is responsible for capturing, editing, and overall producing company and agency video content, creating content for Facebook and Instagram, and running campaigns to grow sales of our products and services for our internal agency as well as for clients.

Responsibilities

• Video production for all video and multimedia products, from pre‑production through post‑production.
• Acquisition of visual and audio material, including recording digital content and interviews; post‑production (editing footage and audio mixing), quality assurance.
• Edits video and audio to ensure quality standards and compliance with the intended message to target audiences.
• Create Reels, Advertisements, and educational videos throughout social media platforms.
• Meet with the organization/personnel via Zoom to interview and film social media related content.
• Extract a story from a week of raw footage or edit a visual montage, understanding how sound, motion, and music convey a feeling.
• Show curiosity for pushing editing styles and weaving stories together; implement current trends and effects.
• Curate a story from raw footage; discern needed information that drives stories forward.
• Manage the video editing process, including editing video, editing and mixing audio, visual effects, motion graphics, color correction, and finishing.
• Deliver strong storytelling with clarity and impact.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel.
• Provide portfolio link in the résumé or send to careers@limelightmedia.co (.co, not .com).
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite desired.
• Experience working with digital design for social media desired.
• Excellent communication and ability to work diplomatically with all involved parties.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with quick turnarounds.
• Well‑versed in capturing and editing video content.

Hours

The position is Full‑Time between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
