Overview

The Graphic Designer interprets creative briefs and works directly with project managers, copywriters, and other designers to produce high‑quality design work that meets project objectives. The role requires competency in typography, layout, production, photo selection, and technical ability.

Responsibilities

• Visually communicate key messages of the company, its brands, and products.
• Create work that complies with existing brand guidelines.
• Apply strong understanding of typographic principles.
• Collaborate with writers, photographers, and the design team.
• Present work regularly to the Associate Creative Director and Creative Director.
• Take ownership of projects.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry standards, trends, and best practices.
• Maintain sharp attention to detail.
• Understand prepress and printing processes and produce print‑ready files.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with files and equipment.
• Use Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite proficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong design portfolio that showcases passion for high‑quality graphic design, marketing, and effective communication.
• Portfolio work demonstrates critical creative and strategic thinking.
• Formal education in graphic design (recommended).
• Competency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Effective communication via phone and in person.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Maintain posture during walking and manual tasks.
• Use manual dexterity for stapling, collating, sorting, filing, typing, and writing.
• Read reports, computer screens, and other written content visually.
• Perform essential duties with efficiency and accuracy.
