Editorial Partnerships Journalist (Maternity Cover) Posted 1 day ago. This is a maternity cover role for 9–12 months, fully remote within the UK. Job Overview We are seeking a passionate Editorial Partnerships Journalist to support our Monetisation and Growth team by curating and promoting content across Google Showcase, Apple News, WhatsApp, Facebook, and more. You will work with a broad portfolio of titles including The Mirror, Express, Manchester Evening News, and others. Responsibilities Decide which stories to promote and schedule them to maximize audience reach. Publish content online to the highest standard, ensuring digital publishing standards, IPSO guidelines, and legal requirements are met. Drive follower growth across all titles and platforms. Respond decisively to breaking news and manage workloads across multiple platforms. Support shift and weekend work, including one weekend in every three. Qualifications NCTJ qualified journalist (or time‑served equivalent) with proven digital newsroom experience. Strong knowledge of Google Showcase, Apple News, WhatsApp and Facebook and their audiences. Excellent news sense, ability to work quickly, and keen interest in emerging platforms.
