Marketing Specialist page is loaded## Marketing Specialistlocations: Sacramento Officetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: R1169**Job Summary:**The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting with development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales for Sacramento Kings single-game tickets, ticket products, and lead generation initiatives. This role plays a key part in growing the fan base and supporting revenue goals through strategic advertising and communication across digital, traditional, and out-of-home channels.The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Creative, Business Intelligence, Ticket Sales, and Retail teams to ensure all campaigns are cohesive, data-driven, and deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative, and innovative marketer who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.**Responsibilities:*** Assist with developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that promote single-game ticket sales, multi-game plans, memberships, and lead generation initiatives.* Manage day-to-day project timelines, deliverables, and communications across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns launch on time and meet objectives.* Assist with media planning and creative development across digital advertising (paid social, search, programmatic, CTV), traditional media (radio, TV, print), and out-of-home channels (billboards, in-arena).* Collaborate with the Creative team to produce clear and compelling advertising assets, oversee timelines and approvals, and ensure approved materials are delivered to the proper channels.* Work with the Business Intelligence team to evaluate campaign performance, analyze audience data, and identify optimization opportunities.* Coordinate with Ticket Sales to ensure marketing strategies support sales objectives and drive qualified leads.* Partner with Ticket Sales & Service teams to support member events, communication and retention campaigns.* Manage email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on ticket sales, engagement, and retention.* Contribute to database growth and email/SMS list-building initiatives that support long-term audience development.* Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing assets, media placements, and reports.* Assist in identifying marketing trends, fan engagement opportunities, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing strategies and campaign effectiveness.**Requirements / Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.* 3-4 years of experience developing and executing marketing strategy at a professional sports team, brand, or agency.* Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and out-of-home platforms.* Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and deadlines.* Highly collaborative, self-starter, adaptable, and organized in fast-moving environments.* Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; able to build productive relationships across departments and with external partners.* Strong communication skills with attention to detail and brand alignment.* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.**Compensation:**The salary range for this full-time, non-exempt role is $50,000 - $55,000. Offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.
