Compensation

Full time, Salary: $5,700 - $6,000 per year. Location: Houston, TX. Workplace: Onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of public relations campaigns and strategies.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.
• Research and identify media opportunities to enhance visibility and promote key messages.
• Maintain and update media contacts database to ensure effective outreach to journalists and influencers.
• Coordinate logistics for press events, interviews, and media appearances.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports to analyze the impact of PR efforts.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Experience with media relations and understanding of the news cycle is a plus.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative PR strategies.
