We are seeking a
Principal Spatial Designer
and Experience Architect
to drive the creative vision and hands‑on execution of a high‑profile, year‑long buildout project. At the intersection of architecture, technology, and storytelling, you will lead the design and realization of innovative environments—spaces that serve as narrative canvases and deliver transformative experiences. This is a leadership‑level opportunity to influence brand, product, and strategy, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams at a company that values experimentation and future‑facing design. The ideal candidate is a senior creative who is both client‑facing and hands‑on, comfortable leading and producing work directly. This is a primarily remote opportunity with occasional travel to Boston, MA.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead multi‑sensory spatial concepts, master plans, and experience narratives for large‑scale, executive‑level projects
Produce 3D architectural designs, sketches, and renderings; prototype novel spaces and interactive technologies
Act as a hands‑on designer, responsible for both creative direction and technical execution, including content production and drawing
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (digital, UX, strategy, technical) to integrate AR/VR and emerging experience trends
Present design vision and progress to senior leadership, clients, and external partners; translate concepts into compelling narratives
Guide and mentor other designers, ensuring project delivery aligns with business goals and brand vision
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Spatial Design, or a related field
10+ years’ experience in architectural design, experience design, or immersive environments, with a portfolio of visionary spatial work (museum/exhibit buildouts preferred)
Expert in concept development, architectural rendering, and prototyping; proficient with tools such as Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, or similar
Strong storytelling ability, with experience designing immersive installations or interactive environments
Technologically savvy—comfortable with AR/VR, interactive systems, and partnering with digital teams
Proven leadership in design teams and cross‑disciplinary groups; excellent communication and client‑facing presentation skills

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations.
