Your role
Do you want to lead all aspects of marketing and demand generation for UBS Asset Management’s across Americas? Do you know how to coordinate and implement a long-term strategic marketing plan aligned with a global marketing approach and partner closely with digital, content and product marketing colleagues alongside sales and strategy counterparts? We’re looking for someone like that to:
Drive the transformative journey for Americas marketing by leading our marketing efforts in one of the most influential regions, elevating brand presence, and amplifying our message of excellence and innovation.
Inspire, develop and implement a unified marketing vision and strategy for the Americas region for UBS Asset Management in collaboration with the Global Head of Channel Marketing across Institutional clients, Global Sovereigns, C‑suite, fund selectors, FAs and retail investor audiences to support overall business growth objectives and lead all aspects of day‑to‑day implementation across all marketing activities.
Lead the Americas marketing team and act as a leader and mentor in alignment with UBS values.
Deal with local regulators for regulatory changes and ensure a robust risk‑management infrastructure is in place.
Track, manage and analyze audience research to determine how UBS Asset Management is perceived by our targeted audiences and what perceptions need to be addressed to enable the business to move forward.
In coordination with global marketing, ensure the Americas value proposition is captured and infused through all marketing communications, aligning with UBS AM’s global value proposition and global marketing approach.
Facilitate the product‑related media engagement plan for relevant audiences (mainly Global Wealth, Wholesale and Institutional clients) including the creation of relevant content/publications.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing colleagues across geographies and channels, with business and sales teams, and with the key senior stakeholders within the global organization.
Salary and Compensation Detailed salary information: New York, Chicago: $140,000 to $180,000. This role may also be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information, visit ubs.com/usbenefits.
Your team
You will be working in the UBS Asset Management Americas Marketing team, located in the New York area, reporting to the Head of Channel Marketing based in London. The team serves the US, Canada and Latin America Institutional, Wholesale and Wealth Management Americas and Global Liquidity channels. The team is comprised of Channel Marketing Managers who are the strategic marketing interfaces with our sales teams, Marketing Campaigns & Projects, Marketing Operations & Production, Marketing Content & Communications, and Events. The team is based in New York and Chicago and collaborates regularly with our global marketing colleagues.
Your expertise
Ideally 10+ years Marketing experience gained in an asset management or financial services context covering Americas. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Proven project management skills coupled with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while interacting with various stakeholders.
Experience working directly and constructively with the financial advisor segment on marketing campaigns and programs with a proven track record of those initiatives’ success.
An extensive investment knowledge; certifications preferred.
Knowledge of financial advisor front‑end platforms and sales tactics taking into account client needs and channel‑specific requirements.
Proactive, organized and collaborative.
