XR Tech Design accelerates human-centric computing by building foundational XR AI technologies and experiences. Our team collaborates closely with the Wearables and Metaverse product groups to develop groundbreaking features and experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible.Our work spans multiple investment areas including; Codec avatars, immersive virtual spaces contextual and generative AI, natural interaction, inputs, precise navigation systems, advanced audio technologies, and much more. Required Skills:

Product Design Manager, XR Tech Design Responsibilities:

1. Build and manage a team of designers and leaders that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across a range of design skill sets

2. Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, and project prioritization

3. Cultivate a healthy design process for the team, and be a key contributor to theorganization's product strategy, driving business outcomes through design

4. Effectively communicate your team's product goals (both within the team and outside the team), and connect related projects across the company so that problems or joint decisions can be resolved quickly

5. Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality

6. Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies, including advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, games, and 3D real-time tools, with an eye toward platform evolution, creator tools, and a working knowledge of influential games and systems

7. Champion the creation and launch of new products and features in ambiguous, emerging spaces

8. Apply a founder's mindset to identify opportunities, define vision, and drive execution from concept to launch

9. Guide the design and integration of cutting-edge XR AI technologies into the broader product ecosystem

10. Collaborate closely with other product groups to develop innovative features and experiences

11. Partner with engineering, product management, research, and other teams to deliver transformative technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience in Product Design

2. 4+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership

3. 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, art, and user research teams

4. Experience building and shipping applications, software, or experiences across a variety of platforms

5. Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company

6. Experience with 3D art and visual design principles

1. Experience with delivering 0-1 products from concept stages to launch

2. Experience working on large scale, complex, ambiguous projects across multiple teams

$196,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
