Job Description:
As a Production Designer on the Design Foundations team, the position is pivotal in ensuring seamless transition of product design details through the development lifecycle for mobile app design. The designer collaborates closely with product and development teams with the goal of upholding the highest standards of design across products. Responsibilities include providing detailed design specifications, supporting developer handoffs, and championing design system adoption and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:
Provide detailed and well-documented design specifications for product features and serve as the primary contact for design-related questions during development.
Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to define design details that deliver a consistent user experience.
Critically review design concepts for component usage, translating finalized designs into production-ready documentation with visual and UX pattern consistency.
Evolve and refine the Client Design System, UX guidelines, and related processes; facilitate documentation, collaboration, and training to increase utilization.
Create, revise, and maintain design files, component libraries, and developer handoff files; ensure efficient, accurate updates in Figma.
Must Have Skills:
Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in design, human factors, or related field
Strong foundation in design principles and technical implementation
Extensive experience with Figma
Experience in design system maintenance and evolution
Strong communication skills across teams
Nice to Have Skills:
Proactive in process improvement and practical solutions
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality user experiences
Experience in building, not just using, design systems
