Summary/Objective At Reading Horizons, we are dedicated to enabling educators with the foundational tools to cultivate proficient readers by the end of third grade. The Web Developer will own the development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the Reading Horizons marketing website and landing pages. Reporting to the Director, Growth Marketing, this role will operate within the company’s technical infrastructure and standards, while partnering closely with the marketing team to support brand storytelling, product launches, and lead-generation initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative developer with a strong eye for design, up-to-date knowledge of modern web technologies, and an understanding of how website performance and user experience drive marketing results. You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to do the following: Website Development & Maintenance Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Reading Horizons marketing website (front-end focused, with back-end integration support as needed). Build and maintain responsive landing pages optimized for conversions, SEO, and performance. Ensure site architecture and user experience reflect best practices for B2B education audiences. Implement tracking, analytics, and marketing automation integrations (Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.). Manage website performance, uptime, and security in collaboration with the Technology team. Continuously monitor site performance, SEO health, and accessibility, implementing improvements as needed. Collaborate with marketing to test, iterate, and improve landing page performance through A/B testing and analytics insights. Stay current on web design trends, AI-assisted development tools, and emerging technologies that enhance site performance and maintainability. Identify and implement opportunities to use AI and automation for faster content updates, personalization, and performance optimization. Work closely with the Marketing team to bring creative concepts to life through thoughtful, functional design. Attend marketing planning meetings as appropriate to understand upcoming campaigns and website needs. Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Content teams to support new product launches, campaigns, and event initiatives. Coordinate with IT/Technology to ensure all marketing web assets align with company security, hosting, and data privacy standards. Maintain clear documentation of code, systems, and processes to support continuity and scalability. We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable for hitting the following measurables: High website uptime, load speed, and technical performance. Improved lead-generation conversion rates from web and landing pages. SEO visibility and traffic growth to key marketing pages. Positive cross-functional feedback from Marketing and Technology teams. Requirements Required 3–5 years of experience in front-end web development, ideally for a B2B, SaaS, or education company. Experience managing CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot CMS, or comparable systems). Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.). Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate marketing needs into functional web solutions. Preferred Experience in education or mission-driven organizations. Working knowledge of API integrations, CRM and marketing automation connections (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.). Familiarity with version control (Git) and project management tools (Asana, Jira, or similar). Understanding of web-based AI tools for design, development, and optimization.
