Base pay range:

$250,000.00/yr - $450,000.00/yr

Our client is a publicly traded investment platform focused on real estate‑related credit and specialty finance. The firm manages a diversified portfolio of mortgage‑adjacent assets and also provides advisory and asset‑management services through a dedicated subsidiary. Following a recent acquisition of a leading originator in the non‑agency and non‑QM lending space, the company is seeking a

Head of Investor Relations . This role serves as the primary link between the executive team and the broader investment community, including shareholders, research analysts, and financial media outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute quarterly and annual reports, earnings materials, press releases, and regulatory filings to ensure all financial communications are accurate and fully compliant.

Support the planning and execution of earnings calls, investor meetings, and other external events.

Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and industry stakeholders through meetings, calls, and outreach; represent the firm at conferences, panels, and sector events.

Partner with leadership to understand strategic priorities and identify new capital‑raising and communication opportunities.

Work alongside cross‑functional teams to maintain consistent messaging aligned with broader business objectives.

Ensure all investor‑facing communications—including digital and social channels—adhere to regulatory requirements.

Contribute to the design and ongoing refinement of the corporate website, investor presentations, and digital content, including tracking engagement and performance metrics.

Collaborate with senior executives to ensure a unified brand narrative across all public‑facing touchpoints.

Monitor digital channels for trends, engagement opportunities, and audience insights.

Help manage the firm’s social presence by responding to inquiries and maintaining timely, professional communication.

Partner with legal and compliance teams to develop and uphold a robust policy framework for investor‑facing digital activity.

Conduct competitive research to evaluate peer communication strategies and identify best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in finance, communications, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

10+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or financial marketing at a publicly traded organization.

Strong understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and investor sentiment using strong analytical capabilities.

Deep familiarity with digital platforms, content strategy, and analytics tools.

Experience with content creation platforms is a plus.

Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in handling confidential or market‑sensitive information, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially around earnings cycles.
