Marketing Program Consultant – Brand Restage (Contract)

Position Overview A leading consumer goods company is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Marketing Program Manager to lead two major brand restage initiatives. This role serves as the central hub overseeing timeline management, cross-functional coordination, master data integrity, and artwork development across both projects.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned CPG project management professional to deliver high-impact results during a key period of brand transformation.
Key Responsibilities Brand Restage Project Management (50%) Timeline & Governance
Build and manage comprehensive project timelines with milestones and critical paths
Lead weekly cross-functional meetings across Marketing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Legal
Track progress, flag risks, and drive mitigation strategies
Manage issue escalation and resolution
Master Data Management
Coordinate creation and updates of all product master data (ERP, PLM, etc.)
Ensure accuracy of SKU setup, specs, and configuration data
Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance on data validation
Monitor workflows and approvals across required gates
Artwork Management
Oversee end-to-end artwork development from brief through production
Coordinate with agencies, internal creative teams, and regulatory partners
Manage revisions, approvals, and version control
Ensure compliance with labeling requirements and brand standards
Track proofing, color matching, and printer coordination
Maintain organized artwork documentation
Cross-Functional Leadership
Drive alignment and communication across all functions
Facilitate decisions, clear blockers, and track action items
Build strong relationships across the organization
Second Brand Restage Project (50%) Responsibilities mirror the scope above: timeline ownership, master data coordination, artwork management, and cross-functional leadership.
Additional Responsibilities Process & Tools
Maintain detailed project plans in MS Project or similar
Track KPIs and project success metrics
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Proactively identify risks and build contingency plans
Maintain risk/issue logs with clear ownership
Escalate critical issues with recommended solutions
Conduct lessons learned at key project milestones
Manage expectations and communication with internal teams and external partners
Coordinate with agencies, printers, vendors, and co-manufacturers
Navigate cross-functional priorities in a fast-moving environment
Required Qualifications Experience
5–7 years of program management experience in CPG, food/bev, or related manufacturing
Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects
Experience with packaging restages, redesigns, SKU updates, or large-scale product launches
Understanding of supply chain, operations, and end-to-end value chain processes
Experience managing master data, artwork workflows, and packaging development
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP, modeling)
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and PLM platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with artwork management systems (Esko, WebCenter, Artwork Flow, etc.)

PMP certification
Experience in post-acquisition or organizational change environments
Experience with global or multi-brand portfolios
Background in category or brand management
Experience with omnichannel product portfolios (retail, club, e-commerce)
Familiarity with agile/hybrid PM methodologies
Multilingual capabilities a plus
