4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
Experience designing and prototyping within Figma.

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in a complex, cross‑functional organization.
1 year of experience leading design projects.
Experience with the Gaming industry or Game development.
Experience with developer tools.
Experience with or building 0‑to‑1 products.

In this role you will help design & define the future of developer experiences for a new interactive content type on the YouTube Playables team.
Salary range: $129,000‑$185,000 (base) + bonus, equity & benefits.
Responsibilities
Work with cross‑functional partners to drive and own designs for new Playables focused features.
Drive design specifications development & create production‑ready assets.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process by making compelling designs & concepts & expressing them in stories, sketches, wireframes, flow diagrams, models, & 2D prototypes.
Rationalize & justify design work, advocate for users’ needs.
Work with the wider YouTube team to craft seamless & consistent experiences across the platform.
