As the VP, Client Services, you’ll lead the client P&L for the Movers+Shakers business, and you’ll own the relationship and revenue growth across our accounts. Internally, you’ll lead our cross-functional team to deliver innovative work. You’ll juggle competing priorities, from pricing to resourcing, as you grow our revenue and profitability. Externally, you’ll lead our clients to success they dreamed of. You’ll intuit their needs and inspire them with what’s possible. We’re looking for a savvy business leader: someone who deeply understands an agency P&L and how we grow, and equally understands a client CMO’s business struggles and how they grow. Lead senior relationships with clients at the CMO and VP level, but not ignoring a coordinator, building strong, trusting thought partnerships. Act as a client “therapist” to uncover unexpressed needs, challenges, and big-picture goals. Translate these into partnership plans and scopes that they didn’t know to ask for. Passion for developing meaningful personal relationships with clients. Proactively travel to meet with clients in person to strengthen relationships. Make sound business decisions and manage competing priorities across accounts. Business Growth & Revenue Management
Proven experience leading and growing a $20M+ book of business, and $1-10M accounts. Be strategic and thoughtful, identify and unlock opportunities for profitable growth with existing and new clients. Develop and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue forecasts and projections. Track and manage pipeline, revenue, contracts, invoicing, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Participate in new business intake and outbound efforts as needed. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor the Business Partnerships (account management) team. Coach the team to identify opportunities for client delight and revenue growth. Serve as escalation for challenging client issues. Be the internal “voice of client” advocate in agency strategy and day-to-day decision making. Inspire and guide cross-functional teams with strategic leadership. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance. Operational Excellence
Bring strong attention to detail in managing business performance, reporting, and operational workflows. Navigate CRM systems and internal tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency across client and financial operations. Qualifications
15+ years experience in an account services role at creative agencies, with at least 10 years in a management role Deep social media expertise and personal passion (heavy user of Instagram and TikTok) Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies, plans and programs in social media and brand marketing Experience and examples in building, managing and motivating a high performing team Measurable client growth and retention track record Highly developed skill in communication, polish and presence Skilled, trusted partner to top-level client executives. Facility setting and holding boundaries and leading difficult conversations Very high levels of flexibility and creativity for solving problems Proven new business or revenue generation experience (both outbound and inbound) Intense desire to excel in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment Exceptional organizational skills Kind, loving and JOYFUL
