Lead the Design of Learning Spaces That Inspire
H2M architects + engineers is seeking a visionary Studio Director to lead our Education & Learning Architecture team in Westchester, NY. This is a unique opportunity for a licensed architect with 15+ years of experience to shape the future of educational environments while mentoring a talented studio and driving design excellence.
From K-12 schools to higher education campuses, our work is rooted in purpose: creating spaces that foster learning, community, and innovation. As Studio Director, you’ll guide a multidisciplinary team, manage client relationships, and oversee the delivery of impactful projects that serve generations to come.
What You’ll Lead
Studio operations, budget, and performance
Recruitment, mentorship, and development of architectural staff
Client relationships and strategic communications
Project planning, execution, and quality assurance
Cross‑disciplinary coordination with structural, MEP, civil, and environmental teams
Workflow optimization and studio efficiency improvements
Business development and proposal strategy
What You Bring
15+ years of architectural design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)
Professional RA license required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
Deep understanding of project specifications and CSI formatting
Excellent communication and organizational skills
