Join Our Team as an Architect/Designer
We are seeking talented designers (1-3 years) to join our firm and contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative and creative environment.
Who We Are WAU - Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism, is a full-service architecture and urban design practice based in New York City working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our design approach is driven by a curiosity for new organizational typologies that offer new ways of living, working, and engaging with one another.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with senior architects and designers on all stages of project development, from concept design through to construction administration.
Contribute ideas and solutions that challenge conventional thinking and elevate project outcomes.
Utilize software including Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Cloud to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam to develop detailed construction drawing sets.
Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings and regulatory approvals.
Who You Are
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Have 1-3 years of experience in creative design firms.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
Critical thinker with a passion for challenging convention.
Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment and can articulate design concepts clearly.
