RACAIA Inc. is a collaborative architecture and interior design firm based in the South Park District of Downtown Los Angeles. We're currently seeking a

Marketing and Proposal Coordinator

to lead and manage our qualifications, proposal, and presentation submissions for public agency and institutional projects. This position is central to our business development strategy and plays a key role in showcasing our firm’s capabilities through RFP/RFQ/SOQ responses.

The ideal candidate will have

2–5 years of experience

in a marketing or communications role within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry and be skilled at managing multiple deadlines, writing compelling content, and organizing complex submissions with clarity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and prepare proposals, RFQ/RFP responses, and statements of qualifications (SOQs)

for city, county, state, and educational clients.

Work closely with the Principals and project managers to customize content and ensure proposal alignment with project goals and client expectations.

Maintain and update a central repository of marketing assets, including project descriptions, staff bios, resumes, certifications, and standard firm narratives.

Manage and track pursuit schedules, submission deadlines, and related requirements.

Collaborate with external consultants and sub-consultants to gather proposal materials.

Assist with the creation of visual presentations for interviews and client meetings.

Manage and update RACAIA’s digital presence, including website project pages and social media (optional based on candidate experience).

Support communications and internal initiatives that enhance RACAIA’s brand and voice.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant marketing or proposal experience

in the architecture or related design/construction industries.

Proficiency in

Adobe InDesign ,

Photoshop , and

Microsoft Office Suite .

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

Familiarity with public sector procurement processes (City, County, State, or Educational RFQs/RFPs) is highly preferred.

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Authorization to work in the United States; fluent in written and spoken English.
