THE POSITION Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager, Media Services, the Manager, Media Services (USA) will be a key member of the FIFA26 Operations team, and will work in close collaboration with Accreditation, Accommodation, Transport, Catering, Broadcaster Servicing and other key individuals responsible for planning, delivering and managing Media Services for 4000+ national and international media expected to attend the FIFA World Cup.
Main Responsibilities and Oversights
Support the Media Services team with implementing a comprehensive media servicing strategy for all US host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Uphold a consistent delivery of services across the 11 US host cities, ensuring a standardized experience for all accredited media.
Support media representatives in planning their travels, obtaining visas, customs procedures, etc.
Support in the planning and implementation of media services, including accommodation, transport, catering, etc.
Support with the preparation of informational material for the media regarding operations and services, including media advisories, stadium maps and more.
Support in developing a monthly newsletter service targeting all media representatives registered on the FIFA Media Hub.
Review media applications for access to the FIFA Media Hub and manage inquiries in the media inbox.
Liaise with the Host Cities Media Manager to define and support media-dedicated services in the US host cities.

Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Higher education qualification in media or sports event management
Work Experience
3+ years’ experience in the sports industry, with an emphasis on media operations & services
3-5 years’ experience in sports project management, preferably in football
Languages
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
