In this role you will provide HR business partnerships to our Merch Planning, Marketing, and Product-to-Market functions, resulting in an engaged workforce and a more productive business. You will develop people strategies, oversee day‑to‑day HR activities, provide thought leadership, and execute talent management and change management strategies. What You’ll Do

Provide thought leadership and consultation on people and organizational issues. Advise Leadership Teams on people and organization impact of business plans and decisions. Implement strategies to improve employee engagement year over year. Analyze HR metrics to identify business opportunities and develop solutions. Drive talent management and succession planning. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to strengthen talent capabilities. Investigate and resolve employee relations and performance management issues. Leadership Behaviors

Extensive HR generalist experience driving initiatives on organizational efficiencies at scale, preferably in a retail environment. Comfort with most HR disciplines (employee relations, compensation, benefits, OD, talent management, talent acquisition). Retail business acumen – understanding merchandising, inventory management, design and marketing competitive talent landscape. Strong track record of driving Talent Strategy, Acquisition, Performance Management, Organizational Design and effectiveness, Succession Planning and Engagement. Experience leading large and small‑scale organizational design initiatives in partnership with leadership. Financial acumen and experience managing FTE and contingent workforce budget at scale. Seasoned in investigating and resolving employee relations and performance management challenges in a headquarters environment. Knowledge and experience driving a high‑performance culture in a leader‑led organization. Proven experience in coaching, developing and recruiting top talent. Benefits at Gap Inc.

Employee pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and location.
