Integrated Marketing Specialist
Location: Lansing, MI
Salary: $102,410.00-$190,190.00
Duration: 6‑month contract (1099) with potential transition to a full‑time role upon successful completion.
Job Description At Christman, you’ll join an employee‑owned team that values innovation, collaboration, and high‑quality storytelling. We’re looking for an Integrated Marketing Specialist to elevate our brand and support impactful marketing and pursuit efforts across our regions.
What You’ll Do
Develop strategic marketing content including blogs, brochures, award submissions, social/digital posts, presentations, and other collateral to increase visibility and brand awareness.
Maintain accurate records of regional projects and field staff, including project profiles, outcome documentation, and resumes.
Support pursuit efforts through the development of high‑quality qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials.
Build a strong working knowledge of Christman’s project portfolio and internal resources.
Assist in developing and maintaining the company’s electronic content/brand library (boilerplate).
Collaborate with the visual media team, regional marketing leaders, business development representatives, and corporate marketing to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
Work with the Corporate Communications Manager to draft press releases, media pitches, internal communications, and other messaging.
Participate in strategic planning efforts that support growth, brand awareness, and message alignment.
Provide additional marketing and business development support as needed.
What You Bring Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field with a writing or marketing focus.
At least three (3) years of related experience in marketing/communications, professional writing/editing, or technical proposal development.
Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Marketing experience within the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Experience producing professional‑quality proposals on tight deadlines.
Skills & Attributes For Success
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite (Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Acrobat).
Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and unexpected needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and levels.
A confident, collaborative, and consultative communication style.
